Losing a friend or a loved can be difficult. Needing to deal with the complexities of administering an estate can be more than many people can cope with at such a difficult time.
At Richard Nelson LLP, we aim to help to ensure that dealing with a probate or administration is not only as stress free as possible, but also that you have as much certainty as possible as to what it will cost and what is involved – both for us and for you.
We offer you a number of options for dealing with an estate, including:
Alternatively, for more information about our probate service, or if you would like us to make a start with the work that is involved then:
† As part of our checked service Richard Nelson LLP will review the answers which you have entered into the online document of your choice. If necessary we will then contact you to discuss or clarify any matters which arise from those answers, deal with any queries which you may have and suggest any changes to the way in which the document is drafted. So far as is possible from the information provided by you, we will try and ensure that the document you receive is suitable for your particular circumstances.
However, please note that if your document requires a significant amount of additional work then we will need to provide you with a quote for that additional work which will be in addition to the price charged for the document itself.
‡Our fixed fee service is on the basis that the level of fees which we charge are on the assumption that the information which you have supplied to us is correct and that the value of the estate comes within the bands which you have indicated.
In the event that the true value of the estate exceeds the value stated by you, then we reserve the right to charge an additional sum to bring our fee within the band that it would have been had we known the actual value of the estate at the outset of the matter.
Please note also that, because of the complexity of estates over £300,000, we will need to provide you with a quotation as to the cost of a full administration service and cannot estimate those fees in abstract. We will, of course, provide you with a fixed fee based upon the work that will need to be done and will not, as some providers do, base the cost on a percentage of the value of the estate irrespective of the work involved.
